Our Love Story

Some love stories begin with grand gestures, while others begin quietly—with a simple introduction, a friendship, and God’s perfect timing. Ours began in 2017, when we first met through church.

Shortly after we met, Nicky returned to Bulawayo to continue her studies. Although life took us in different directions, we remained in touch over the years. We weren’t dating then; we were simply two people whose paths had crossed, each growing, learning, and walking the journey God had set before us.

As the years passed, our friendship quietly endured. Then, in 2025, we reconnected in a new way. Our conversations became more intentional, our friendship deepened, and before long, it blossomed into love. What had started years earlier as a simple connection became the foundation of something truly special.

Together, we discovered a relationship built on faith, trust, friendship, and mutual respect. With every conversation, every prayer, and every shared dream, we became more certain that God had been writing our story all along. Looking back, we can now see that every season—even the years apart—had a purpose.

And now, in 2026, we stand before God, our family, and our friends, ready to begin our greatest adventure yet as husband and wife. We are grateful for the journey that brought us here, excited for the future ahead, and thankful to celebrate this special day with everyone we love.

As we begin this new chapter, we hold onto the promise found in His Word:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

We believe our story is a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. What began with a chance meeting at church has become a lifelong promise, and today, with joyful hearts, we say “I do.”
